Community Vision
Captivated by the beauty of East Feliciana, Eric Robicheaux envisioned Iron Creek as a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Baton Rouge and nearby cities. 35 years working for Farm Bureau insurance taught him the phrase “Family Land.” He began to appreciate why these folks never sold. He always dabbled in development but wanted to leave a legacy, so Eric has devoted his retirement years to Iron Creek.
The first home on the property was completed In 2018 and it has since developed into a small community with 11 homes built and 17 lots available. Iron Creek is more than just a neighborhood—it's a peaceful retreat for those who crave a respite from urban noise and chaos, all without the burden of managing extensive land. With lots of manageable acreage and a fully stocked pond, Iron Creek offers a peaceful and serene environment for residents to enjoy. With lower levels of pollution and noise, the countryside provides a healthier lifestyle.

Ethel, Louisiana is a small, tight-knit community with a rich agricultural history
Rooted in History
The history of the area dates back to the early 19th century
East and West Feliciana Parish were originally part of the larger Feliciana Parish. The area was named after “Feliciana”, a term meaning “happy land” in Spanish, as reflected in its lush landscapes and fertile soil. Both parishes have thrived through agriculture, and today they are both celebrated for their historical significance, natural beauty, and enduring cultural heritage.
Nestled in the middle of both East and West Feliciana Parish, Iron Creek offers a glimpse into Louisiana’s past while maintaining a strong sense of community and connection to the land.
Known for its tranquil, scenic landscapes, Iron Creek offers a blend of countryside living with modern amenities, attracting those who seek a peaceful, rural lifestyle while still being within commuting distance to the city. The lots are spacious, providing ample room for homes and outdoor activities.
